I was thinking of calling it Amicus or Superium. What about Simpatico? Oh, that’s good, I like that. You could have two levels: Simpatico Normalo and Simpatico Maximus.

If you’re a fan of the dating app, this one might look familiar. It’s the one based on bees. I’m not sure why it’s based on bees, but hence the hexagon. I personally am not a fan of the dating app. I say that. I’ve never used one. It all seems a bit alien to me. And very transactional. Like you’re shopping or something. Swipe this way if you think this person is ugly, swipe the other way if you’d fuck them. Horrible stuff, imo. Me, I’m old skool. My own personal approach from yesteryear was the get annihilated down the pub after work and see what happens. Even then I’ve been out of that game for the best part of 20 years.

As you might expect – given that opening paragraph – this one sees Mark contemplating an ‘introduction agency’ for ‘professionals’ (shorthand: a dating service). Which actually sounds perfectly acceptable and tame compared to the modern day judgmental approach. The only issue with any of this is that Simpatico is hammered out with Stephanie. And Stephanie isn’t Dobby. Mark nearly pairs of with Stephanie given their instant attraction but he gets cold feet and calls it off. To the sounds of Van Morrison’s ‘Moondance’. Let’s be honest, Mark doesn’t really know what he wants, does he? At any point ever.

Big Mad Andy, though. He’s a character and an episode of the show. In this eponymous one he threatens to drink paint unless Jez punches him.

All pretty normal stuff.
