The North Diner

I’m afraid… I don’t want to be known as a fussy britches, but finding human body parts in my food really throws me off.

Today we’re visiting The North Diner in North Sucessville. I know, you probably worked that out already. But we’re going there with Emma Bunton (real) and the place is run by Katy Perry (Kerry Howard). So a blend of Girl Power and hideous, predatory ex-husbands. This is another one of those ones where we can vaguely make out the establishment’s sign being blurry as fuck in the background of a scene. So some of this is artistic license. A top-tier license, just behind off and driving* (though never at the same time, obvs).

The reason we’re there is that Perry has been receiving some of deranged fisherman Ian McKellen’s illegal, black market dolphin in order to flog down the diner. McKellen, Perry and ex-fuzz Louis Walsh are all suspects in the murder of copper James May. With hilarious results. Which sounds like a piss-take but is genuinely true. The highlight of the show being DI Sleet’s constant attempts to cop(!) off with police chief Nigella Lawson (Sleet is my favourite kind of storm. I feel that hard storm coming my way. Oh, it’s going to come. All over your face).

As things are a bit inconclusive in terms of the colours, I’ve done my own thing. I’ve already done a diner within these four walls already, so I kind of wanted to avoid the 50s pink and teal feel and went with my backup plan of red and black.

* I am aware that ‘off’ and ‘driving’ are licences with a ‘c’. It just ruined my flow, man.
